This self-paced class will walk you through all the steps necessary to start and rock your very own VA business – from the ground up.

Topics covered will include:

  • Week 1: Taking a Skills Inventory
  • Week 2: Choosing a Niche
  • Week 3: Choosing a Business Name and Setting Up a Legal Structure for Your Business
  • Week 4: Creating a Marketing Plan
  • Week 5: Setting Up Your Web & Social Media Presence
  • Week 6: Finding and Working With Clients

I’m super excited for this program because I really love helping newbie VAs set up their businesses to not only survive, but thrive. And of course I can only give so much help in the free group because I have to make money too (or I wouldn’t be able to keep doing this important work).

This will be a win/win and an amazing opportunity for new VAs — and anyone struggling to get off the launch pad — to benefit from all my expertise. Chances are, if there’s a mistake to be made, I’ve already made it and if there’s a struggle to be had, I’ve already worked through it.  So why go through all of that yourself when you can learn from my lessons and merrily skip past those mistakes? Kickstart your VA career being set up for success by joining the MiniClinic today!

FAQs about the program

Who is Galena? How is she qualified to teach this?

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in English in 2004 from the University of Maine and then went on to earn a Master’s in Adult Education in 2007. I worked in various sales, customer service, and admin jobs and gained a wide variety of experience for 10 years before starting my VA biz. Seven years ago I was in a car accident and had a near-death experience that changed my worldview completely. I decided that I was no longer going to work away from my family and struggle just to make ends meet while my employers were bringing in record profits!

business-naming-examples-35

I worked successfully as a VA in many different capacities for 5 years before deciding that I just had to help other moms and wantrepreneurs to achieve the same success. So many people out there are struggling just to achieve the dream of being an entrepreneur.  Using the knowledge of adult learning principles I gained when taking my master’s degree, I began working 1:1 with women (and a few men!) from all around the globe, helping them craft the career of their dreams.

business-naming-examples-36

With my analytical brain and keen editing eye, my knack for using technology to solve problems as well as my firm belief in continuous improvement, I can be the one to help you achieve your dreams too. As a trainer, I am full of good humor, honest but gentle, and exceedingly persistent at holding your hand through and over the obstacles you may face. I know a lot about most topics that will help you succeed as a VA but I’m also apt to point you to a resource or another person if I think you need help in other areas. No one person can know it all and knowing where and how to seek help when you are struggling is half the battle.

Is this another one of those “How I made 100K in 5 days” scams?

Absolutely not. You may notice that there are no income claims on my site like the ones that are flashing on other similar websites and I generally don’t talk about income unless someone asks. Why?

business-naming-examples-39

It’s a mix of your unique skills and talents (which I can show you how to improve), how well you’re able to promote yourself (which I will teach you) and a little bit of luck too. Anyone who claims you can make $x in X days by following their course or program is a bit presumptive in my mind. What I do is give you all the tools, tricks, and systems to set you up to make as much money as YOU possibly can on YOUR time schedule.

business-naming-examples-41

But if you follow my advice and do the challenges in the program, you may very well find success comes a lot easier than it would on your own. 🙂

If I don’t make 100K in 5 days will you refund my money?

No. Again – it’s up to you to do the work. What I will do is try my best to help anyone who is struggling.

business-naming-examples-42

I like to keep my customers happy because reputation is everything in this industry. With that said, I’m putting a lot of time and effort into this so please don’t buy the course and then ask for a refund because you went a little crazy on Amazon. 😀

What will the activities consist of?

Each unit contains resources (including reading material, tools, tips, links and/or videos) on the topic being presented. Once you look at the materials, there will be a 10 question quiz to test your knowledge and an assignment where you’ll put it all into practice and receive an individualized critique and advice from me. These assignments aren’t just busywork – they all involve creating something useful and actionable that you can use in your VA business once you launch. It could be taking a skills inventory, deciding on a niche using the worksheets and guidance provided, getting your DBA, coming up with 3 options for a logo etc. You can ask me any questions on that topic (or any other you are struggling with) in the forums or via private message. By the end of the course, you should have completed all of the elements required to start your VA business and be ready to launch.

What if I haven’t decided on a niche/services/ideal client or just in general don’t know what I’m doing yet?

That’s fine! That is what the course is for!

business-naming-examples-43

This is what I do every day.  I may seem overwhelming at first but I’ll break it down into smaller more manageable steps and then I’ll help you walk through each of those the steps one at a time. With that being said – 6 weeks to launch a VA business is  a pretty accelerated pace so if you don’t have at least a few hours a week to devote to the challenges or if you’re the type of person who likes to think and rethink and backtrack rather than taking action steps to move forward, this may not be the right course for you at this time. I can hold your hand, but I can’t drag you forward. The decisions are yours to make. 🙂

Do I have to be an absolute newbie to benefit from the course?

Not necessarily. If you already have a niche, logo, and business name (or have some start on these) but you’re just not getting the results you want with your VA business, you will still benefit from this course.  There may be things you have missed about the process of creating these that were crucial or maybe you are in need of a rebirth/rebranding. If you’ve already started your biz but just can’t seem to find clients or get your name out there, you will get a lot of benefit from this course.

How long is this available? How many spots?

Because we’ll be working so closely together, the group IS limited to 100 participants on a first-come first-served basis. Anyone who wants to enroll after that point will have to be on the waitlist.  You can view the current number enrolled on the course website.

Act now because when the seats in the class are gone, they’re gone!

What’s the cost? How long will it take

The class can be completed in 6 to 12 weeks depending on your pace and sells for $297. There are limited partial scholarships available from time to time and I can also split the payments to help make the course affordable for you. Message me and ask! I really like to help people succeed. Don’t let money hold you back from making your online business dreams a reality.
